Let’s Work Together

Submit stories from your own family tree!

As we explore America’s journey—its struggles, turning points, and moments of hope—I want to invite you into the story.

History isn’t just written in books or courtrooms. It lives in our families, in the choices our ancestors made, in the traditions and truths we carry forward.
Every family has a moment when someone faced a crossroads: fear or hope, comfort or change.

But let’s be honest—some of the most powerful stories are the ones that make us uncomfortable.
Maybe you’ve discovered an ancestor whose choices challenge your values, or whose story forced you to see your family—or even yourself—in a new light.

Sometimes, it’s these uncomfortable truths that teach us the most, or help us notice just how resilient we are.

So, I’d love to hear from you.
Write in and share your stories—about ancestors who inspired you, and about those who unsettled you.
What did you learn? Did their journey change how you see your family, your history, or your own strength?

Let’s learn more about ourselves—and each other.
Let’s appreciate one another as a collective, recognizing that our histories are intertwined and our growth is shared.

Your story might help someone else see their own family in a new light, or remind us all that the hero’s journey belongs to every one of us.

Send your stories, reflections, or questions. Together, we can build a richer, more compassionate understanding of our past—and our future.
